Learning the cello is an enriching and fun experience. This enduring instrument has been the soulful backbone of any orchestra for hundreds of years and is also rewarding to play individually or as part of a string quartet. The versatility of the cello means that there are plenty of opportunities to perform with the instrument, but learning to play for your own satisfaction can be just as rewarding.
Pro Music Tuition has some wonderful Cello teachers in Birmingham, Walsall, Wolverhampton and the Black Country who can help you achieve your aspirations at one of our music centres in Rubery, Birmingham, two music schools in Sandwell and Dudley (Cradley Heath near Halesowen and Rowley Regis), Sutton Coldfield and Solihull. We also have hundreds of pupils who learn to play the Cello via our online Cello lessons from all over the world each week.

ADULT AND KIDS CELLO LESSONS IN THE WEST MIDLANDS
We teach cello from age 5, but have students of all ages learning string instruments at Pro Music Tuition. The teaching team that runs our strings department are all highly trained professionals who understand the importance of teaching children of all abilities the fundamentals of music theory and scales, and learning to play individual songs. Learning the Cello as a child helps improve their self-confidence, and when performing as a group can help with coordination and learning critical collaborative skills.
Whether learning through group or individual Cello tuition, we offer to train pupils for exams. Working towards a goal like this can help teach children to focus, and the sense of achievement when passing grades is always a thrill. We work with several different syllabuses, including ABRSM, Trinity and Rockschool. If you have previously learned pieces for an exam elsewhere, we can provide the exam for you (excluding ABRSM).
GROUP CELLO LESSONS
Group cello lessons at Pro Music offer an excellent opportunity for students to build confidence while learning alongside peers, fostering a supportive and motivating environment. These sessions, spanning 60 minutes each, are conveniently scheduled after school on both weekdays and weekends, facilitating accelerated skill acquisition and progression. Join us and embark on a rewarding journey of musical growth together!
Whether you opt for individual or group cello lessons, Pro Music caters to your specific learning needs. Individual lessons are tailored for those aiming to excel in exams and master intricate pieces, while group lessons offer a dynamic setting where learning is enhanced through ensemble play. ONLINE CELLO LESSONS
We also offer Cello lessons online, using Skype, Zoom, WhatsApp or Facebook to connect with you at home. Our online teaching is delivered at the same high standard as if you were in the classroom, without the need to travel, and with more flexibility. Teaching online lessons is an increasingly popular choice for pupils, young and old.
